“To serve with compassion is to bring Christ’s love to life.”
For decades, the University Sisters of Assumption have served as a beacon of hope to the sick, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. Their medical mission, inspired by the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, goes beyond clinical care—it is a mission of mercy, service, and dignity.
Operating in communities where access to healthcare is often limited or nonexistent, the Sisters are dedicated to providing not only medical attention, but also emotional and spiritual support. Through clinics, health outreaches, and mobile medical missions, they reach the unreached and care for those in dire need.
Their work extends into the training of future healthcare providers as well. Through collaborations with nursing colleges and health institutions, the Sisters mentor young minds, instilling in them both medical competence and a heart for service.
Every injection, every diagnosis, every comforting word reflects their belief: that the body and soul must be healed together.
