Assumption International Nursery and Primary School, Akata Okuku Owerri was established in September 2018 by the University Sisters of the Assumption with a clear mission:
To provide a quality education system rooted in moral, social values, and academic excellence for children within and around the community.

The school was founded to ensure the security, proper upbringing, and sound education of children in the locality — recognizing that they are the future hope of our generation.

Current Situation:
At present, the school is in urgent need of befitting structures and buildings to create a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning. There’s also a pressing need for adequate classrooms and office facilities to support the educational system and enhance the overall learning experience of the pupils.

We earnestly appeal to well-meaning individuals, organizations, and benefactors to partner with us in building a brighter future for these young ones.
